Chris Skipper is an award-winning, internationally renowned British and South African composer, sound designer and music producer. He has scored virtually all genres and for all forms of visual media ranging from feature documentaries to online viral videos and memorable TV commercials.
Recently, Skipper founded SONIC FUTURES (www.sonic-futures.com) - a bespoke sonic branding and podcast agency. His music has also appeared on NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, CNN, FOX SPORTS ASIA, BBC RADIO 1, CHANNEL 4 (UK), FREMANTLEMEDIA and PIVOT TV (USA).
Having scored over 100 TV commercials, Skipper has worked with high-end clients including SAMSUNG, DJI, HONDA, YAMAHA, KFC, UNILEVER, NESTLE, TOYOTA and ASICS just to name a few.
After receiving his degrees in music from the University of Cambridge and the University of Bristol, Skipper was given the opportunity to work in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Manila Philippines and is now based in London, UK. During this journey he has met many passionate musicians and has continued to conduct lectures on classical music, film music production and conducting. His understanding of music production has led to him working as a mastering engineer and music producer for many artists including; THE KANONOS (USA/UK/VIETNAM), SPACE PANTHER (USA/VIETNAM), and DEMONDICE (USA/JAPAN).
